Aasimar are popular with power gamers; but sometimes there is a great character concept that just works nicely with a celestial being.

I think tieflings are cooler though ^_^

Aasimar are OP, but sometime Humans are better with the extra feat... ore small size races with the right builds.

BTW my main character will be a Angelkin Aasimar Dragondisciple :P
    Present day?
    Present time?

Agreed my favourite race has always been the tieflings there work great with the warlock class and the prestige class hellfire warlock in d&d 3.5

In D&D, I played an Aasimar once. He was a Paladin, a class that I usually abhor. He died quickly when he was level 2 fighting a Wight, became a Wight himself and then proceeded to kill his former companion (another PC). Great memory, so fitting for an Aasimar paladin... :D

Agreed that Aasimar can really bring certain concepts together. My first playthrough on Kingmaker is going to be an Idyllkin Thundercaller Bard.

I like Tieflings and Aasimar roughly equal, I'm just getting a little burnt out on Tieflings because I feel like I see them everywhere.

Personally I'm blah about the race. 'Okay, so you have metal hair. That's rad!...Oh, 'metallic' colored hair. .....And you can make a halo? ...Alright then.'

Anywho....Stay on target. I'd insert a meme of the Death Star run in here to make my point, but I'm lazy. Make an 'I <3 Aasimar' thread if you like.

Oh, probably one of the most important for games like this is an easy system or useful tools for mod support. Seeing as how BG 2's mod community is STILL ACTIVE, the ability for others to come in and mod and change things would be awesome. Especially if folks add in new companions.

The same thing happened to mine! but he was a ranger though.
What do you call a dragon who ate a bunch of adventurers? A party-pooper!
If you Awaken a chicken, is it speaking fowl language?
What do you say when a treefolk betrays you? Tree-son!

Ouch. A very bad way to die for a Ranger. I like Rangers... :D
