Regent is not baron, Regent is Lander (bad news, stay away), Valerie or Octavia.
Valerie has the highest natural charisma of the three.

And if you’re good aligned, Octavia may be your only option for Magister later so Valerie’s probably the best regent for good alignments regardless

Ah, I see. I’m quite confused though of the different advisors positions couse I only have 5 spots to choose from. Maybe you unlock the other 4 spots later in the game? Ir are there different positions based on your Barony alignment?

    Kinda.
Advisor unlock requirements are obscure and arcane (could be a couple different factors)
What is written is that you must raise the corresponding stats to at least 20 points (arcane, relations, espionage, stability, culture)
What is demonstrated is that you have to rank up the primary associated stats before the secondary positions unlock.

    Loyalty (Regent) unlocks Culture (Curator)
Community (Councilor) unlocks Relations (Diplomat) unlocks Espionage (Minister)
    Military (General) unlocks Stability (Warden)
    Divine (Priest) unlocks Arcane (Magister)
    Economy (Treasurer) doesn't unlock substats

All the positions are alignment agnostic although some of the people you can fill the positions with are alignment dependent.

    Thanks for clarifying this.

Thank you for all this info. Didn't know any of this.
